Payment
All prices displayed on eFestivals Camping Shop are inclusive of VAT. We accept the following forms of payment:

 

·        Credit and Debit Cards - Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express

·        PayPal

 

We do not accept cash sent to us through the post and cannot be held responsible for any losses therewith.

 

Security

When you shop at eFestivals Camping Shop via our website, all financial transactions are entirely secure. We use SagePay as our payment gateway which provides a 100% secure link between our site and the bank ensuring that all our customers' card details are kept secure throughout the transaction process.

 

We operate under MasterCard SecureCode, Verified by Visa and fully comply with Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards. We do not store any cardholder information.

 

Stock Availablity
All our products are held at our shop and warehouse in Twickenham ready for dispatch.  If stock levels drop to zero our system will automatically display the message ‘Sorry, this item is out of stock’ and will not allow purchase.
 
Placing an Order
Once you have placed an order with us, you will receive a confirmation email and another when your order has been dispatched.  In the unlikely event that there is an issue with any part of your order, we will contact you as soon as possible so please ensure your contact details are correct.
 
To calculate the correct delivery charge, please ensure you choose the relevant delivery area applicable to your address from the drop-down menu.  If the delivery address is a business please include the company name.  Incorrect delivery information could cause delays as we may need to contact you before we dispatch.
 
Same Day Dispatch

Orders received before 3pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are processed and despatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm Monday to Friday and orders placed over the weekend or on Public Holidays will be despatched on the next working day. European and Worldwide orders weighing over 2kg where delivery charges need to be calculated and confirmed are dispatched when delivery is paid in full.
 
Please note: although Funky Leisure is open between 9am and 5pm weekdays and 10am and 2pm Saturdays (summertime) - couriers and Royal Mail only collect from us on weekdays (not bank holidays) at a set time in the afternoon.
 
Free Next Day Delivery
Free Next Day delivery on orders over £75 applies to UK mainland only and excludes European and Worldwide deliveries.  Order values over £75 going to UK Offshore Isles, Highlands and Northern Ireland addresses will receive £6.99 discount (in line with UK mainland) from their delivery cost.
 
Standard UK Delivery
Lighter orders (under 1.5kg) are sent out via Royal Mail 1st Class or Royal Mail Tracked.
  
Heavier orders (over 1.5/2kg) are sent via 48 hour courier service (signature required).

Next Working Day, Next Working Day before 10am and Saturday before 1pm 
All Next Working Day, Next Working Day before 10am and Saturday before 1pm orders are sent out via Royal Mail Special Delivery or courier and will require someone to sign for them. 
 
Please note: Next Day services are not available to Northern Ireland, Offshore Islands, Scottish Isles and Highlands including some HS, IV, KA, KW, PA, PH, PO and ZE postcodes.
 
UK Offshore Isles, Highlands and Northern Ireland
Orders weighing below 2kg are sent via Royal Mail 1st Class Post, with the same delivery charges as the rest of the UK. However, higher value orders (where increased insurance is necessary) and heavier orders weighing over 2kg have to be sent via courier service and as with all of our other delivery charges this is charged at cost price.  As above, we automatically apply a £6.99 discount for orders over £75.
 
Due to fluctuations in exchange rates, the above charges may vary slightly from the actual prices shown in your shopping basket and are intended as a guide only. 
 
Europe
European orders below 2kg are shipped via Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets - please allow 3 to 5 working days for delivery.
 
* For heavier orders weighing over 2kg once you have placed your order we will find the most competitive courier price based on destination, weight and size of package and email the cost to you for confirmation – you are under no obligation to buy but we will not dispatch until the shipping charge has been paid.
 
Some lengthier items like telescopic flagpoles may incur an oversize item surcharge which will vary depending on destination country – we will email a request for an additional payment and your order will be dispatched upon confirmation and payment.
 
European orders over 2kg are shipped via courier - please allow 4 to 5 working days for delivery.
   
Worldwide
Orders below 2kg are shipped via Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets - please allow 5 to 7 working days for delivery.

Cancellations/Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on our website and claim a full refund of the price paid for the goods.  To cancel your order you must notify us in writing via email/post within seven [7] working days following the day of delivery.  We will confirm your cancellation via email - the goods must then be returned to us in an unused and re-saleable condition i.e. unopened with any seals and shrink wrap intact within ten [10] days.  You are responsible for the cost of safe carriage back to us - unfortunately, original delivery charges cannot be refunded.

 

Damaged Goods

When you receive your goods please check them for damage and notify us in writing via email/post within five [5] working days following the day of delivery.  We will send you an email with returns number and details of how to return.

 

Redelivery Charges

When you order an item at eFestivals Camping Shop that will not fit through a letterbox - please make sure you choose a delivery address where you know there will be someone in to receive it.  If there is nobody available to receive an order the courier/postman will usually try a neighbouring address and leave it with them – you should receive a card informing you of this.  If, for whatever reason, you do not want your parcel left with a neighbour you will need to write this in order notes at the time of ordering.

 

All next day services and orders over 1.5kg in weight or £50 total cost will need to be signed for, if the postman/courier are unable to obtain a signature or fit a parcel through your letterbox a card will be left for you to contact your local post office/sorting office/courier depot to collect or organise redelivery (chargeable).

 

If you do not contact your post office/sorting office/courier depot within the time specified your parcel will be returned to us, which will mean two charges – the cost of the original delivery plus the same charge to return the parcel to eFestivals Camping Shop.  Please note: these charges (plus a 10% handling fee applied at our discretion) will be passed on to you (the customer) even if you were originally eligible for free delivery. If you still require your items, unfortunately, we will also have to charge for redelivery.

 

If your parcel is being sent to a business address, to eliminate any confusion, please include the name of the business in the shipping address and make sure there is someone to sign for it as we will have to charge for redelivery. 

Delays Due to Adverse Weather, Major Incidents Sporting Events etc…
Delays caused by adverse weather conditions, major incidents, sporting events etc… are obviously out of our control.  On this basis, unfortunately, we cannot refund any delivery charges for late deliveries.

 

Items Not Received

Heavier orders over 1.25kg are sent via courier and are trackable so please check the email address you left at time of purchase as you will have been sent an email with tracking details when your order was dispatched.

 

For lighter orders please check whether a card has been left. If the postman is unable to fit a parcel through your letterbox or obtain a signature for higher value items over £50 a card will be left for you to contact your local post office/sorting office.  Postmen are obliged to leave this card so please check with other people within your household who may have put it somewhere safe.

 

In the rare case that an order or card has still not been received within the expected timeframe Royal Mail state that we need to wait 15 working days for UK delivery, 20 working days for EU delivery and 25 working days for the rest of the world before we can make a claim for lost item. 

 

Please send an email to efestivalscamping@funkyleisure.co.uk if your item has still not been received after this period and we will put in a claim.  You will then receive a non-receipt confirmation form from Royal Mail which you will need to fill in and we can then either send out a replacement item or refund you. Please note: all non-receipt claims will need to be received within 8 weeks of dispatch confirmation.

 

If you desperately need your item before this waiting period is over, unfortunately we can only recommend that you purchase a replacement and wait for the refund to come through for the original item. Items can get caught up in the system and do occasionally turn up within waiting periods in which case you can return the original item back to us for a refund - however we cannot refund postage costs in these circumstances.

Product Faults
Where applicable, please ensure that you have followed the manufacturer’s instructions correctly and you are certain there is a fault with the product before returning it to us for inspection.  If a returned product is tested and found to be in working order we will have to charge for redelivery and in some cases collection costs.  Also, if a product is found to be in working order but is no longer in a resalable condition and you then decide to cancel we may only be able to refund a ‘used value’ for the item.

When you place your order or enquiry, you are required to provide your name, address, email or telephone number. This will enable us to process and despatch your order efficiently and to inform you of any future offers.

 

Any additional personal information you may provide during any form of communication between yourself and eFestivals Camping Shop will be subject to the same privacy statement.

 

Cookies

To make full use of online shopping and personalised features at eFestivals Camping Shop and deliver a user friendly service via the internet - this sometimes involves placing small amounts of information (cookies) on your computer, tablet or mobile phone.

 

Our cookies don't store sensitive information such as your name, address or payment details but are used to improve services for you like recognising that you may have already entered a username and password so you don’t need to do it for every web page requested.

 

We do display some video content using Adobe Flash Player which uses Flash cookies (also known as Local Shared Objects) to help improve user experience - Flash cookies are stored on your computer in much the same way as regular cookies.

 

If you share any eFestivals Camping Shop content with friends through social network sites like Facebook or Twitter - you may be sent cookies from these third-party websites. eFestivals Camping Shop does not control the setting of these cookies, so we suggest you check these particular websites for more information about their cookies and how to manage them.

Environmental Policy:

 
Packaging

As part of our environmental policy we reuse 95% of all boxes and packaging that comes into our warehouse and recycle the rest.

 

Any new boxes that are bought in are made from 75% recycled cardboard and are 100% degradable and recyclable.

 

Our postal tubes are manufactured from 100% recycled cardboard and are recyclable, the plastic end caps are made from LDPE (Low Density Poly-Ethylene) and can be taken to any recycling plant that accepts plastic.

 

We use small gauge biodegradable bubble wrap which breaks down quickly in landfill and is absorbed back into the soil with no harmful residues. Once decomposition has occurred the only by-products that remain are small amounts of CO2, H2O and biomass that serve as nutrients for soil microbes.

Traditional Chinese Flying Lanterns Withdrawn
As part of our environmental policy we have decided not to stock Large Eco Sky Lanterns anymore.  Although, our Chinese lanterns were the wire-free-frame type, we have withdrawn this product from sale as the National Farmers Union and the Maritime & Coastguard Agency still have strong concerns with safety issues along with the fact that sky lanterns are now banned from most major UK music festivals.
 
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations
The amount of WEEE UK consumers throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the country.
     Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health
     
     Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to reduce the amount of waste created by electronic equipment. The regulations also mean that manufacturers of electrical equipment now need to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment and that the suppliers of equipment, like high street shops and internet retailers are now able to allow customers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
 
eFestivals Camping Shop can offer customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
For example, if a customer bought a new torchfrom us we would accept their old torch and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
Customers can either bring their old item into our shop (with the receipt for their new item) or send their order details via email and return their like for like item by post (unfortunately, posted costs cannot be refunded).
Alternatively, to find out your nearest participating site that recycles household electrical equipment and for advice on all aspects of recycling at home, please visit www.recycle-more.co.uk – just enter your postcode in the 'recycling facilities' locator.
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:
 
Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
